Aaargh, I'm sorry I haven't written since my angry, sweary post last week! Here's a super-duper quick recap of what I've been doing:
- Went home to Mallorca last Friday.
- Had a very good time with my mother and we baked a really good apple crumblie pie.
- Monday night I went back to Germany.
- Now I'm back in this shithole which I hate.
- I have done NOTHING. I'm so bored again.
So yeah. Back in friggin' Deutschland with zilch to do.
Tonight, in Sweden, it's the first competion for who gets to go to Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden this year. "Melodifestivalen" the Swedish people call it. On wikipedia: Melodifestivalen[a] (English pronunciation: /mɛlʊˈdiːfɛstɪvɑːlɛn/, "The Melody Festival"[b]) is an annual music competition organised bySwedish public broadcasters Sveriges Television (SVT) and Sveriges Radio (SR). It determines the country's representative for theEurovision Song Contest, and has been staged almost every year since 1959. Since 2000, the competition has been the most popular television programme in Sweden;[1] it is also broadcast on radio and the Internet. In 2007, the semifinals averaged 3.1 million viewers, and an estimated four million Swedes watched the final.[2][3]
I am going to try and watch it online since I don't have Swedish television here only stupid German television but I don't know how well that will go since there will be a lot of people online watching it so the connection will be bad. Otherwise I will watch Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS) on German TV. Bleh.
