Shiatsu Sounds Like Shitzu

1202hrs

I am so tired. Probably 'cause I woke up at 0330hrs this morning. Aaargh. I just want to sleep. But I have a Shiatsu massage to go to at 1230hrs for an hour. I hope it is worth it. Afterwords I will have to sleep. The only thing that I don't like is that the people that work here keep coming into my room without warning all the time and it's really quite annoying especially if  I am sleeping or in the bathroom.

I was going to do yoga for the first time tonight but apparently I am the only one that has signed up for it and they don't do it unless there's a minimum of three people joining in. More time to sleep then! But I shouldn't sleep too much 'cause then I will not be able to sleep tonight or wake up ridiculously early without falling back asleep again.

I feel like baking. I want to bake so bad!

So here is a recipe and maybe you can bake for me instead!

Carrot Bread

Ingredients

  • 200 g sugar
  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 60 g whole wheat flour
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 5 g baking soda
  • 6 g salt
  • 2 g ground cinnamon
  • 180 ml unsweetened applesauce
  • 120 ml egg substitute
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 135 g shredded carrot
  • 30 g chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Coat an 8-in. x 4-in. x 2-in. loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and dust with flour; set aside. In a bowl, combine the sugar, flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. In another bowl, combine the applesauce, egg substitute and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients until just moistened. Fold in carrots and walnuts.
  2. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
